What We Do

Central Texas Voices for LifeCTVL is an ecumenical Catholic community service organization dedicated to the purpose of protecting and preserving human life from conception to natural death.  Our mission is accomplished through our action committees consisting of Prayer, Education, Membership, Fundraising, and Media/Public Awareness.

During this time of world crises, we are in need of pro-life hearts who are willing to serve our Lord Jesus Christ to end the culture of death perpetrated upon defenseless babies in the womb through abortion and the elderly through euthanasia.

We urge you to consider the profound influence that 50,000,000 abortions have made upon the world.  We have lost 50 times as many children to abortion in the last 35 years as we have lost soldiers in all the wars since the Revolutionary War!  When the gift of life is violated in the womb, all the spiritual, mental and physical gifts that were bestowed upon an innocent life at conception – by God – are killed when a life is sucked out of its mother’s womb.  All the positive effects that the new life would have had in the world are taken away with the life itself.   Many would-be political giants have been aborted.  The same for our Priesthood, many vocations have been snuffed out in the womb.  Anyone 35 years of age and younger can look around and say “Where are they” and “I’m lucky to be alive!”

Central Texas Voices for Life asks you to please pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit as to how you can help to preserve the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.  We invite you to join us each Thursday to pray the Holy Rosary for Life at 6:10 PM after 5:30 Mass as well as to consider serving on one of the CTVL committees or as an affiliate member-at-large, willing to respond to a call to action in opposing legalized death through abortion and euthanasia.
